Permiehub is a web-based platform built to support your design process from any location, on a wide range of devices - workstations, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones,

Virtually any device running a supported browser will work - simply visit https://designer.permiehub.com and sign in.

Supported Browsers

Permiehub is optimised for modern browsers. We recommend keeping your browser updated to the latest version for the best security and performance.

  • Google Chrome or Chromium-based browsers: (Recommended) Best performance and full support for all features.
  • Microsoft Edge: Fully supported (Chromium-based).
  • Firefox: Fully supported.
  • Safari: Supported. Please note that Safari users may experience minor interface or performance issues.

Device Recommendations

While Permiehub works across various devices, the best device depends on which stage of the design process you are in.

💻 Desktop & Laptop (Best for Design)

For detailed drafting, precision mapping, and complex site analysis, a laptop or desktop computer is highly recommended.

  • Why: Large screen, the precision of a mouse or trackpad, and keyboard shortcuts make detailed work faster.
  • Operating Systems: Any OS running a supported browser (e.g. Windows, macOS, and Linux).

📱 Tablets (Best for Versatility)

Permiehub works on tablets, offering a balance between portability and screen size.

  • Recommended: Using a tablet with a stylus (like an Apple Pencil, Samsung S-Pen, or Lenovo Tab Pen) provides precisionengaging experience control for digital elements.
  • Operating Systems: Any OS running a supported browser (e.g. Android or iPadOS)

🤳 Mobile Phones (Best for On-site Reference)

Access your projects on your phone for quick viewing and verification while standing on the land.

  • Best Use: Viewing your existing plans, or making simple notes and modifications in the field.
  • Constraint: Due to the smaller screen size, complex precision drawing is not recommended on mobile devices.

Hardware Requirements

  • Internet Connection: As a cloud-based platform, an active internet connection is required to load projects, save progress, and access features such as Base Map Wizard.
  • Processor (CPU) & Memory (RAM): For standard designs, most modern devices are sufficient. However, as project size and complexity increase, higher-specification hardware may be required to maintain optimum performance.

💡 App-like Experience on Mobile

TIP

While Permiehub isn’t currently listed on the Google Play or App Store, you can easily add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. In your mobile browser (Chrome or Safari), simply open the menu and tap “Add to Home Screen” to create a quick-access shortcut. When in Permiehub tool, you can also “Enter Fullscreen” from the menu.

For maximum screen real estate when designing, you can also select “Enter Fullscreen” from the Permiehub menu.

Troubleshooting Tips

If you experience any lag or visual glitches:

  • Update your browser: Ensure you are running the latest version.
  • Clear your cache: Sometimes old data can interfere with new updates.
  • Check your connection: High-resolution imagery requires a stable internet connection to load quickly.
